  1. Guild Park and Gardens

  1. Port Union Waterfront Park
Bring your wheels – and by that, we mean your bikes or skateboards – and cruise along the tree-lined pathways of Port Union Waterfront Park. Enjoy quiet walks along its cobblestone beaches or sit back and watch birds fly by. Drink in the breathtaking views of the changing lights of the day reflected in the water. You may also go on a short hike by following an easy trail and wait for the sunset on the pedestrian bridge over Rouge River.

Find one of the benches facing Lake Ontario and watch sailboats go to and fro.

The park was the property of Rosetta, whose father is Thomas McDonald West who happens to own and operate J. & J. Taylor Limited, Toronto Safe Works. Her husband offered the property to the city of Toronto in 1959 after her death. It’s currently located along Glen Everest Road.
